Hi
Same here.
this is just insane to pay this much money for a smart phone that have this much problems, I cant make phone calls anymore and not just that, the amazing super helpful Verizon customer service had no clue what to do about it and after 4 days of trouble shooting they leave me a voice mail that its a n issue with my phone and to call Samsung to spend several hours trouble shooting and resetting my phone and wiping cash and still its the same problem so they directed me to VERIZON SUPPORT AGAIN and what makes it worse is that they are still advertising it and like nothing is happening, i really think this is a bottom low point for Verizon when T-mobile and Sprint have better service on this phone than Verizon.
and now i am stuck with the phone that makes these insane loud squick like noises with every phone call on every headphone wired or wireless and cant do anything about it. this is just frustrating and sad

That's a shame......so I imagine even if you guys put your calls on speaker (until fix) the situation is just as bad? Hope you guys get the appropriate OTA update that solves this!

It seems to be a LTE issue. I dropped into a 3g only area and the call
quality was great.

Never mind don't think that's going to work. Turned off data entirely and still have same issue.

It seems as though this may be an issue also with the S4 since the 4.3 update. So definitely something on the software side. PLEASE FIX VERIZON/SAMSUNG!!! I WILL BE SHARING THIS FORUM WITH EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORK EVERYDAY! AS A MATTER OF FACT EVERYONE SHOULD!

Out of the five million GN3 shipped or sold I want to know how many was returned because of the call quality issue. I returned three myself and gave up on this phone. On most forums for this phone a lot of people is reporting bad call quality to the point of not being able to use as a phone. Sprint acknowledge a problem and addressed the problem with a update. But I'm with verizon and they refuse to acknowledge any problem and say its a manufacturer defect . I called samsung and they say its a carrier problem. Went back to my note 2 and that will be my last Samsung phone.

"Honestly, it’s not the best sounding phone we’ve used for phone calls, but nonetheless, the Galaxy Note 3 is effective enough for the occasion. Through the earpiece, voices pop with authority thanks to its strong volume – though, there’s a hint of crackling when it’s placed at the loudest setting. It’s noticeable, but quickly remedied by lowering the volume a couple of notches. Still, voices through the earpiece sound very natural in tone. However, we can’t say the same on the other end of the line, as voices tend to sound robotic. Switching to the speakerphone, we’re neither impressed or disappointed, as it works enough to get us through our conversations."
