Sooo, I bought the N7 outright (no payment plan) a couple weeks ago. When trying to upgrade it through the method Verizon texted me, I have to pay full retail for a S7 Edge. Is this correct? I essentially have to pay for 2 phones and just wait for the N7 refund after they send me a box (hopefully along with the Samsung $100 credit)? Is this how it's supposed to work?

Or you could return the phone, and go back to your old one until you see a phone you like. You just sacrifice the $75 extra for your inconvenience if you buy another Samsung.
Despite what carriers are telling us, you can return.

That's what they told me too.
Absolute crooks. I received my n7 on October 10, paid over $800 for it.
They want me to hand them another $800 and wait to get a refund within a few billing cycles.
What am I, their banker?
I bet everyone would like a no-interest loan!
Their CEO should come over to my house and kiss my keester!
