Brand new Note 8, not receiving or sending MMS

I bought my phone 4 days ago, and although I've tried multiple things, I cannot receive or send MMS. I'm ready to take the phone back and get my Galaxy back. Is anyone able to assist me in my settings, or what do I need to do to get my Messsage+ working properly?

I’m sorry to learn that you are having difficulties with MMS on your brand new phone, J.ROD2150. We definitely want your Verizon Message+ application to work as intended with those MMS messages. Let’s get some additional information, and explore ways to resolve this MMS issue.
Are you able to send/receive MMS if you use any other messaging application?
