Can I buy an iPhone at the store and still return Note 7

I noticed iPhone 7+ are in stock at my local Apple Store.  If I were to buy the iPhone 7+ at the Apple Store, can I still return my Note 7 to Verizon?  How would I go about this?

Vibben, it’s great to see that you have your eye on the iPhone 7 Plus device. Getting this device in your hands is our goal for you today. If you can stop into the Verizon store:  To return the Note 7 so that you may get your full refund back for your purchase first. Then once done, then you may stop in an Apple Store:   for a new device. But please don’t hesitate to check to see if the Apple iPhone model you want is in stock.

Re: Can I buy an iPhone at the store and still return Note 7

Well yesterday no stores in salt lake area would take back note7 due to danger and I see from others here that the stores are still refusing.

Also considering that the major carriers are imposing strict shipping guidelines I would hope customers would not have to wait for Verizon to receive these dangerous phones.

I am using my kindle fire until I receive my replacement via Fed ex. Of course to make or receive calls I need the note 7
