Now that Google Wallet has purchased Softcard and the Softcard app will not longer function after 3/31/2015 is there a way to actually uninstall it? Right now all I can do is turn it off. I want to actually totally remove it since it will be obsolete. Will I be able to do that?

The uninstall of SoftCard will come as part of either an OS update or a standard software update. When VuTalk on the G2 was discontinued they sent an update to install an un-installer, which then un-installed itself.

Not unless Verizon get's over their ridiculous insecurities and lets us root device we own. This is exactly why I'm returning my Retail Note 4 and ordering the developer edition from Samsung directly. MY PHONE, my choice how to use it.
