Can't get SMS Verification Code

In the past few days, I am suddenly note able to get SMS Verification Code from one of the apps.  The app company is not finding anything on their end.  I have tried to turn off refi, clear messages, etc.  Help!  Using a Samsung Galaxy Note10+.
