Since Kitkat update my face keeps muting calls-- my cheek against the phone while I talk seems to switch screens-- I get the global clock screen and often the screen with the mute button. Sometimes the phone hangs up all together. I can no longer talk with any cheek pressure on the phone. This is driving me crazy and I am wondering if it is happening to others.

Check to see if your proximity sensor is turned on. From your Home screen touch the green Phone button.
Touch the Menu button and then select Call settings
Place a check mark on Turn off screen during calls. If you have a checkmark already there you may have something interfering or covering the proximity sensor (the two holes next to the earpiece).
