Per this post Samsung Galaxy Note 7 - Recall Information - I tried to return my exchange Note 7 to the corporate store where I got the original AND the recall replacement. they denied it and said because it was a recall replacement they won't take it and I have to wait for Samsung to mail me something to return it. Based on the recall post referenced above it sounds to me like they are wrong and need to be set straight. When I upgraded to the Note 7 from my Note 4 I paid off the 4 and have been using that since wiping and powering down the 7, but I want to be done with this business ASAP. Can a VZW rep please clarify this and/or contact the store and let them know they have the wrong information? I do not want to do an exchange at this time, I just want to return the darn thing!
For reference, the corporate store is located in downtown Chicago and the address is 209 S LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL, 60604. Their phone number is 312-658-3900. Looking through my receipts I think the store # M1465 01.
Thanks in advance

Same response here in Huntsville, AL. The store located at: Valley Bend, 2762 Carl T Jones Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35802 declined to take the phones and said everything is already being handled.
I called on Tuesday and was told to take them to the store to get the refund issued and turn the phones and the accessories in. I drove 33 miles today only to be told they would not accept the phones (after I was told to take them on Tuesday). I see nothing that says anything has been sent, nothing has been refunded, nor any way to dispose of these 3 phones. What a waste of time and money. I have been a Verizon customer for a long time and do not hold Verizon responsible for the phone but the customer service in this situation is lacking and wasting my time.
Possibly a former Verizon customer based on this store experience...
