What happened to my custom text tones? After installing oreo update, they're gone!

New operating systems will always involve some changes to what was in the previous version, as you've seen with Oreo removing the custom text tone option. Depending on your texting app, you may be able to adjust these settings within the app itself, but Oreo does not have that feature at this time.
