Device Maintenance and Auto Restart Missing

T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T and US Cellular all have Device Maintenance and Auto Restart for their versions of the Galaxy Note 7, so why did Verizon remove these features?

As a new customer I would like to know why these were removed.

I wish I knew that as well, but they will never say why.  I'm going to be returning mine and buying an international verzion and going to T-Mobile.  Unfortunately GSM networks only work with those variants.  I'm fed up with paying the exact price as everyone else and having a company tell me what I need or want vs. me making that decision.

The task manager isnt removed, just in a different location. Which sucks because you can't look quickly. But go under applications and hit the 3 dots dogs in the top right corner and memory.

Auto restart? I wouldn't want that on my phone. I hope the other carriers allow you to disable it. If Samsung coded their UI right, it wouldn't need the device maintenance/task manager.

On another topic, does anyone know how to get rid of the pinned screen off memo on the always on display? I've deleted all the ones in Samsung notes. Went through the saved ones on the screen off display. The icon will not go away.

Ann, the auto restart function can be set to restart your phone at a specific time (usually at night when you are sleeping and not using the phone).  It can also be disabled if you don't want to use it.

I just found out another missing function.  The new Samsung Cloud is not shown on the Verizon Galaxy Note 7.  Samsung is offering 15GB of free storage to all Note 7 users.  Verizon probably removed this because they have their own Cloud that they want us to use.

Will Verizon consider putting the device maintenance setting back. Maybe we should ask before calling them names. If they don't, then we can let them know how we feel.
