Yeah I'm so sick of this junk. I just paid $909.79 for as phone that doesn't have all the features its supposed to have. Just about done with these people but have no choice cause all the other carriers are so poor when it comes to having a reliable connection in my area. Besides even if every single customer were to rage about this they will never get any resolve unless they switched carriers.

Quite frankly, I'd love for someone from Verizon to come on here and specifically explain how to:

1.  Optimize our phones EXACTLY the way Samsung had intended us to do it with their original software.

2.  Explain why we weren't given "Samsung cloud" with FREE 15gb of storage option?  I understand that Verizon has their own cloud with 5gb of storage.  Definitely not the same.

3.  Explain why the settings menu is the same as the note 5 and the s 7 edge?  I purchased this phone to get new features.  I own both the edge and the note 5.

Note only does it not have the old settings menu but it doesn't have the above, find my device, diagnostics code, home button click options (unless there is a way to activate?)  or show RAM usage. This is so sad I feel like crying in a corner somewhere. Even if they make a root for it us Verizon customers are screwed because it will mess with Knox and brick the phone.

Could they unlock all of this in the future or in order for that to happen they would have to collect all the phones to change the firmware that is causing all the fuss?

Did I miss it in this thread but not one answer from Verizon on why they do this. What they don't want us to have the full experience of our phone or some quirky remark like you usually see from them.

I heard no matter which Note 7 you get (US versions) it's the same hardware. As soon as they release the firmware for the unlocked US version, which should have the same hardware, and if I stay with Verizon, I'm going to flash it to the unlocked version.

At&t, T-Mobile, and sprint didn't take features away.  Granted, they have their bloat.  Bloat I can handle.  Taking away features was quite frankly a violation.  Pocketnow did a podcast on it stating that it should be reported to the FCC and FTC.  I hope it does.
