Had Clean Master on my S4 but now I have the Note5. I need this app on my new phone? if so, is there something better then Clean Master.

Nope. Uninstall it. Unless you regularly sideload apps, Clean Master is mostly just a CPU eater. The phone will manage the cache automatically, and in such a way that doesn't go and wear out the flash storage in your phone.
