My email uses a POP3 server. I used to be able to delete mail from server and email would delete from phone (Galaxy s5). Now, I delete email from server and I have to manually delete from phone (Galaxy note 8). What to do?
MARLAGOLD, we want managing your e-mail account on your device to be simple. Are you using the e-mail feature on your phone or did you download a 3rd party e-mail application to your phone? Let's make sure that your settings are correct on your device for this POP3 account which will delete e-mails from the server and your device. Tap Settings>Manage Accounts>More Settings>Incoming Settings>Delete email from server.
