I was at Verizon store an hour ago for replacement of the Note3. Reason is that I bought white color for my wife, however she wanted black. So, I went back to store and asked them to replace it (Give that it's within 14 day exchange window). They turned me down and said I need to pay $100 more on top of $35 restocking fee. I am ready to pay $35 restocking fee however it's ridiculous to ask me to pay for $100 more. Their argument is that when you bought your phone earlier, price was $199. However now it's changed to $299.
I do not understand the purpose of 14 day exchange window. It's same phone with different color.
i think it's actually a 14 day "return" policy, so you'd have to return it, and then buy a different one. now, i also think that nonsense.......but it's how i believe the 14 day policy works.
