I work in lower Manhatten the 4g coverage is very spotty. How can I put my Galaxy Note 2 into 3g mode only?

Spotty coverage is never something we like to hear about, but making sure you get full circle service is something we're glad to help with.
The Galaxy Note II is a 4G LTE model device which is backwards compatible with 3G when 4G LTE is not available. However, there isn't a setting where you can force it into 3G mode. May I ask exactly which zip code you're located in that's presenting problems? Are issues indoors only? We can't guarantee coverage indoors but we still want you to optimize your device's performance. For starters, try removing/reinserting the SIM for a network resync http://vz.to/YvOSIg . Thanks for responding. My zip is 10286. I am on the 25th floor and have a window office. The 3g signal strength and reception is fine where I am.
