Careful what you guys demand. I spent several hours today reading AndroidCentral and xdaforums posts on how buggy 5.1.1. is.
Back to my earlier statement, the Note 4 and Now the Note 5 have a long list of documented issues... the one that gets my attention the most is the weak radio... Knowing the weak signal issue carried over to the Note 5 really demonstrates to me that there's a combined hardware and network issue. Either way I don't care if it's Verizon or Samsungs fault! They need to work together to resolve the root cause and improve your "flag ship" users experience.

I have a coworker that has a Note 4 on AT&T and he said that all his issues
were corrected after the update. The bugs in 5.1.1 are nothing compared to
5.0.1. I would trade one for the other in a heartbeat

Of course there are bugs on 5.1.1, but some people overreact to the extreme (past where we are), and at least the 5.1.1 bugs are different and less intense. I actually haven't experienced the weak radio, but I can tell you that the Note 5 is more like a Note 4C (to use Apple terms). It's actually more of a downgrade than just a shift.

The bottom line is that Verizon has let their note 4 owner's down and they really don't care about it the note 4 should've been updated a long time ago and yet we are still waiting. We will be lucky to see 6.0 update by the end of 2016 verizon you should make it right by letting us note 4 owner's if you plan on skipping 5.1.1 update for the 6.0 update we deserve to know that we know you read these post so at least respond with some information about the update

I agree 100% ... Communication would have put a damper on this thread!
Now it's too late ... we will all be out of here sooner rather than later.
Who knew, the combination of Samsung and Verizon would have been
this bad! The Combo of the two companies is the FAIL! I don't think
that many of us will be around for the release of Android 6.0 for the Note 4.

I actually think that if Verizon ends up skipping 5.1.1, 6.0 is going to come out in February, like 5.0 did. Let's just hope it doesn't also make our devices drain 10% every 5 minutes.

LG is definitely in the future for me. Maybe even Fi, if they come out with data sharing.

I would be ok with skipping 5.1.1 and going to 6 in February, the problem
is they haven't communicated that to their customers. Until they do we are
forced to believe it will be months before they release 6 so they should
release 5.1.1 to fix the current problems as to provide adequate customer
service to their customers.

I wholeheartedly agree. If they had just said they were going to skip it, I would be annoyed and probably still complain, but I would at least know that Verizon had decided it was better to just work on 6.0.
