I agree with you 100% and if all of us note 4 owner's stick together we can
make a difference because we all know verizon reads everyone's post. so
verizon we are just asking when will we get the update or if you plan on
just skipping 5.1.1 for the 6.0 update so your customers deserve to know

Failure is not an option FinkMJ. I own that device as well and just recently updated it. Let’s address this battery issue. When did you update the software? Outside the update has there been any other changes to the device (new apps, increase in usage etc.)?

I went to the Verizon store and showed them the issues my phone
had.....they booted in safe mode and did some tests. They attributed the
problems to hardware issues. I pay for the insurance and received the
replacement the next day (this was Friday December 4). I did what they
asked and ran the phone with the absolute minimum in case I have an app
causing the problem. The battery was fully charged when I started, after
10 minutes when I received my first text message and battery was at 73%.
The android OS and Android System were at the top of the list. During my
removal of the games and apps that come pre-installed, the phone locked up
twice and rebooted. It drops connection to my Samsung gear 2 neo multiple
times throughout the day.
Listen, as an IT Manager and 20+ year IT Service provider, the conclusion
is clear. The only thing common between these two phones is the batter and
my Google account. Since I didn't have these problems with this same phone
on 4.4.4 and it's unlikely that the battery will cause some of these
issues, it appears to be an OS problem.
Verizon should be working diligently to resolve these issues for their
loyal paying customers and communicate the status of these updates.
Keeping people in the dark is bad for business.
As I'm typing this message I've lost 10% of my battery, and I have my
screen brightness low as to conserve as much as possible. Something is
wrong, please fix it or let me get a phone of my choice to replace this
headache.

Oh, your battery is definitely destroyed. I demanded a replacement battery from VZW and it actually helped slightly. I can tell that my old battery was killed by lollipop.

Personally, I'd really appreciate if the Customer Support team would be a bit more personal. You definitely tried to relate, but you didn't actually give a comparison of any sort. Of course being polite is generally better, but after a while it just seems like you're distancing yourselves from everyone.

In a few weeks you will understand how bad the battery life is after the
update. Just release 5.1.1 and make our lives easier. Troubleshooting will
not do anything. In a few weeks you will join the army
