Galaxy Note 5 / Samsung Pay Omission / Class Action Lawsuit

I have a  long story to tell but I will keep it short. I have been with Verizon for going on 9 years and am reasonable for 29 very data heavy lines (and growing by the week).  Today is the day that broke the camels back. From my understanding, Verizon will not be partnering with/offering Samsung Pay; one of the main reasons I bought my Note 5. I have put up with them taking away features from my $700-900 phones for the last time. Do we live in North Korea or something? What financial benefit does this have for them? Are they coming to try to force us to use one of their subpar pos products again? ISIS/Softcard worked out well, huh? .. If by the official launch day I do not hear that Verizon will br offering Samsung Pay, I plan on returning my Note 5, terminate every single line at whatever cost, contacting the BBB,  and filing a Class Action Lawsuit in the coming months. If Verizon wants to take away key features in our flagship devices, their phones and plans should be at a discount; not a premium. Although successfully executing all of those actions will likely result in NOTHING (and cost me lots of time and money), I can't live with myself not doing anything. A company like this is the definition of a BULLY.  I hate bullys.

Thanks Verizon.

UH, you can return the phone within 14 days.

You can cancel all your lines and switch carriers.

YOu can contact the BBB, with what complaint, I do not know.  Verizon, or any carrier doesn't have to permit Samsung Pay, or even sell Samsung phones.

FIle a class action suit?  Not a chance.  Verizon hasn't supported or allowed FM radio.  They have that right.

IF they do, or don't allow Samsung pay isn't grounds for a suit.

ITs plenty reason to be angry.

Add me to your suit. If they were not going to support it... Verizon should have been forth coming with this news before people started purchasing the product. It was hard for me to choose between the iPhone and Samsung. I decided to go with Samsung because of Samsung Pay. I certainly feel as though I was mislead as a consumer.

You can still return the phone.

You can't sue a carrier for features NOT advertised as being NOT included.  If Verizon advertised it as such and omitted the feature, then you'd have grounds for fussing.  What the manufacturer advertises vs what the carrier advertises has always been a hot issue.

Your understanding is incorrect. Verizon is still evaluating Samsung Pay and the fact it is STILL not available for OVER ANOTHER MONTH, they have plenty of time to determine if they will be partnering with/offering Samsung Pay.

Yes, you are correct it is not available for another month. However, regardless of the language Verizon chooses to use for it they currently are not supporting Samsung pay while all other major carriers are. That is troubling. I have been a Verizon customer for a little over a week but I am already making plans to leave if there isn't support for Samsung pay at launch.

Just because the other carriers offer it doesn't mean merchants must accept it.

Yes, other carriers have stated they will support it once it is available, however they obviously cannot support something which is currently unavailable.

It is quite possible Verizon will support it as soon as it is available, just like the other carriers.

I would have to disagree.

With the changes in how we purchase equipment from Verizon, I would think they should no longer have the right to decide what features are included or not included.

Verizon is asking to pay the full retail cost of the device and nothing is coming out of Verizon's pocket as far as subsidies or cost.

If we are essentially buying the device from Samsung through Verizon as a middleman, then the device should come unencumbered with all the stated features & abilities that Samsung's website says the phone "SHOULD" have.
