Galaxy Note II won't power up

I have had my Galaxy Note II for less than a week, love it, but have encountered my first "problem". While out last night, the phone "died" in my purse. I charged it all night. As of this morning, there are no notification lights on and when I attempt to power up by pressing the button, nothing happens. Can you help me with what to do? Thank you!

Good morning. I am sorry to learn of the difficulites you are experiencing with powering your device on. I know how important it is to ensure you have a working phone. I understand you have had your phone on the charger all night, which should be enough time for the phone to charge. Was the phone dropped at all? Any physical or water damage?

Can you please try simultaneously pressing and holding the Home button ( ) Volume up key Power button until Samsung logo appears then release. If the device is still not powering back up, please feel free to reach out to us for further assitance.

How long did you let it charge? And was it connected to a wall plug or your computer? A completely drained battery takes a minimum of 12 hours to become fully charged. If you had it connected to your computer, probably 18 to 20 hours. You might also try removing the battery, wait a few seconds, and then re-insert it.
