Yes Verizon has decided to down grade it's network. They decided they are going back to regular old 2G despite all the billions it has spent on spectrum and tower upgrades. They decide they don't really want 100 million customers so they are hoping this move will cause most people to leave. The Verizon CEO was quoted saying "We're tired of making billions, who needs it?"
We are also having issues with phone calls, texts and reception in the 30329 area, Druid hills, Atlanta. Problems are making the cell phone (iPhone 4S) nearly unusable.
