How do I factory unlock my Note 3 to use another carrier?

We'd be sad to see you leave us if you're a customer, but the great news is we don't lock any of our 4G LTE devices. No unlocking is necessary. The other carrier would assist you with all aspects of activating on their network. Have a great day!

I've tried using another carrier like straight talk and they said that my phone is locked by verizon and can't use it at this time.
