I got a softcard NFC SIM card, how do i activate it on an already active phone

Have a Galaxy Note 3 and requested/received an NFC SIM card through the softcard app. How do I activate the new SIM card?

We'll help get you new SIM active, Jagaines15. You can start the activation for the new SIM by turning off your phone and removing the old SIM card. Once removed, insert the new SIM and power your phone on. It will take a few minutes for the network to activate the new SIM. If you experience a delay of more than 15 minutes, please log into your My Verizon andverify that your device is showing active on your phone number: http://vz.to/1g4drq9
