The building that I work in has Verizon repeaters, but only for 3G. I do get a weak 4G signal (300 - 400 kbps throughput and high latency). My Note 3 prefers the 1-bar 4G over the 4-bars 3G. Does anyone know how to disable 4G? Thanks.

swilczek, we can definitely help you with that. Disabling LTE service is easy. Just tap Settings>tap More Settings>tap Mobile Networks. You will be provided with the option to disable 4G LTE.

Your answer doesn't work with the Note 3. To completely disable 4G you would need to be only on CDMA (not including LTE). There isn't a CDMA only option for the Note 3 as shown in the screenshot above. I do however see the option to turn mobile data on or off, but that would disable all data capability unless you're on Wi-fi.
