KitKat Upgrade Issues

I just did the update. Everything seems well. There's one thing that drives me crazy. Try placing a call, then put that call on speakerphone. Now, press the home button and get to the home screen. Does the proximity sensor remain on? Why yes! Of course you're NEVER going to want to use your $300 phone while talking on it!

Please fix it. The fact that it's even broken in the first place is sad. Worth mentioning is that it was doing the same thing when I got this phone in November. A subsequent update did resolve it, though.

Let's hope the next update fixes it!

And let's hope it's not just me with the problem!

Thanks for confirming dustinmullen. Did you retain your apps during the update? If so, I recommend testing in safe mode for a full day to rule out app conflict with the new OS.

Hi dustinmullen- Let's bring back the light when you are on a call! Does there appear to be any dirt or corrosion in the headphone jack? Are you using a creen protctor on the device?

Thank you,

Nothing has changed. Everything worked fine before the update...
