Is Verizon going to release this upgrade or is the Note 4 no longer supported?

Samsung is responsible for making the final decision if a device will be updated. What is the software version on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I find it hard to believe since Samsung has stated in their forum for the note 4 they don't know or can speculate when The carrier will release  the update hence it's out of their hands now verizon has to release it and it's plain open where everyone can read it. And that post was  posted a month ago.

It is official, looks like Verizon released the Marshmallow update for the S5 about 5 hours ago therefore I very much doubt that Verizon has any intention of upgrading the Note 4 as it is a newer device than the S5

Now they just released Marshmallow for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

Nice to see they are releasing it. I keep checking, but it keeps telling me it can't connect.

I get the same error.  Of course it could be the fact that Verizon started upgrading the S5 to Marshmallow yesterday and today they are upgrading the Tab S2 and Note 4 at the same time.  Think of all the bandwidth that is being used sending the Marshmallow update to three different devices at the same time.
