I am having issues with both messaging and email after the update this morning. Both of the apps are force closing. For messaging, it force closes when I try to send a text, and for email, it force closes when I open an email. Anyone else having issues? I have cleared the cache, and rebooted my phone twice. Any suggestions? I cannot get through to Verizon for assistance.
Hi jo42 - Let's get you back to business! Are you using the native Messaging application? Are you using standard email app or Gmail? Try starting the phone in Safe Mode to see if there are any corruptions present in other applications. http://support.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/69429/
If the performance improves we will have to then find out which application is the culprit or complete a hard reset to clear all corruptions. http://support.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/69819/
