I got it into safe mode finally

 

OK... I called while in safe mode.  Didn't ring.  whet straight to VM.  Didn't give my former greeting.  Hung up.  It said I had voicemail.  I SAW it in Visual Voicemail (not Premium version).

 

Took out of safe mode.  and left a 2nd message.  Did not show.  No visual showing I have missed a call.     Dial *86 and I could her it but no indication or error that I received/missed a cll and had a voicemail

I received your request again for me to try this in safe mode.  I answered the request.  Are we getting responses crossing somewhere?

Thanks, gmartinsen! Just to clarify, Visual Voicemail did notify you of the voicemail when you were in Safe-mode correct? In that cae a factor reset may be the way to go but we can try a few additional things first before we do. Please respond to the Private Note we are sending.

Did this ever get resolved? I am having the same problem. I have a green app, not the red one. my voicemails show up, but only as a phone number that I have to click on and then play the message. Spent so many hours trying to resolve this between the online chat and my own searching, it's exhausting!!!!

I am having the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S20
