Updates are meant to improve the performance of our devices not hinder them. I am sorry to hear that this update has caused this issue for you. Just so we are all on the same page are you referring to the album artwork of a music application? Are all of your apps up to date as well? Please provide more details so that we can better assist you.
It is the default google play music app and yes all my apps are up to dat . I've tried re-sync using windows 10 media player which has all the artwork with no success.
