There are 2 works for statements as you made the first word is BULL.  VZW are not the best even thought they are just about ALWAYS LAST.  Features removed, bloatware added and some like the update a few months back very much failed to many S3 owners, which turned their phone into a paper weight for over 2 weeks until you released an update which worked OK.  VZW only offered an exchange for one of your refurbished phone which most customers don't like as they are many times with other peoples problems when they get them.  Everyone wanted to roll back to the previous version of android which was letting everyone use their phone as a phone.  I really don't see how what you say it a true statement.

Nailed it...couldn't agree more! That OTA killed my S3 and was left with the option of other people's returns as a replacement...after buying the S3 full price just a few short months prior. Still feel ripped off to this day because my only option was to get yet another device at full price since the S3 took a huge step back in overall performance, even after the "fix".

Maybe they are waiting for Lollipop, or Licorice, or whatever the next is called to be developed, lol. Seems they take pride in being the last per the statement from Verizon rep earlier in this thread, so they are probably just thinking ahead by stalling this release so 4.5 or 5.0 can be stalled as well Note 3 though is good as is, so take your time Verizon...especially with your history of failed OTA updates.

It would be nice to get an answer to the question as to when it will be available.

I use my Note 3 for work and I need HCE, which is perhaps why Verizon is so slow

on this. HCE messes up ISIS.

Let's not kid ourselves big red, You are the most popular carrier because you have the best coverage. The way that you treat your customers (as demonstrated by the flippant response above) is sub-par. The fact that you have the most resources, yet you let carriers that are barely still in business like t-mobile out perform you over and over is pretty pathetic.

Stop screwing around and send out the update. Your customers have more than paid for it.

Unlike Europe that blame the manufacturer. We blame the carrier. By blaming the carrier they get leverage.

No I wont. Wanna know why? Because the base 4.4 code from Google works great. No problems with the other carriers who have ALREADY released it. So if there is a problem, it will be caused by all of the extra crap that Verizon adds that nobody wants. This is the same extra crap that takes Verizon so long to add and makes them the slowest to update.

Yes guess what... 4.3 was riddled with problems. Veizon released it... people complained here and blamed them for releasing Samsung code which was reported I Europe to having problems. Samsung wrote the code not Google and not Verizon for their phones. Verizon only request features, gives the pre-installed software in advance(what you call bloatware) and tests the update and approves it(proven even by Google, Motorola, Sony, and HTC).

So if YOU are not willing to take the blame for any problems that arises. I will tell Verizon to take their time testing it because I want my MicroSD slot to work right, I want my accessories to work like I paid them to do, and I don't want certain bugs reported to happen in Europe.

You yourself just said that 4.3 was full of errors even after Verizon took forever releasing it. So really, what is the point of being LAST to release EVERY update if your update is still going to have the same bugs that every other carrier has? Verizon being last has noting to do with quality control. It has everything to do with shoving in as much bloatware as they can sell.

But if it makes you feel better, you can be the last person to update. Clearly that will make the update work better for you.
