Thanks for providing all those details as it helps us to narrow down the issue you are experiencing. Did you have a chance to test the phone while charging? While it is normal for the phone to feel warm to the touch during a software update or while charging the phone, we don't want the phone to be too hot you can't touch the phone. I can understand the additional concern with the history of the device, teridarren. Can you fill me in a bit more on exactly what’s going on with your device? It’s normal for the device and the charger to both get slightly warm during charging or in use. If the phone is used while charging, the heat may increase as well. It certainly should never get uncomfortable to the touch though.
