Thank you. I performed each suggested steps and the speed/connectivity woes continue. The connectivity and speeds are VERY inconsistent within the 15 mile range of my home and each job.
At home, I get about 1-3 MBPS download speed, consistently (zip 85282)
At my first job which is 12 miles west from home, sometimes I get up to 15 MBPS, but most other times its about 3-5 MBPS (zip 85017)
At my second job which is 9 miles west from home, I average about 5 MBPS but in the smoking area outside less than 100 yards away, I have hit 50 MBPS. That seems to be a hot spot because anywhere else on the property, it is no where near that. (zip 85008)
***all speeds reported while holding an LTE signal
I have used the S3, S4 and HTC One in these same locations within the last year and received close to the same results. Factoring in network traffic, time of day and so forth plays a role I am sure, but I have never experienced excessive speeds and/or a strong, full signal in my area like many other customers have reported in other areas...Verizon's network in Phoenix has always been average, at best. The signal/connectivity has been "good enough" but never great (unless I am smoking lol) So I am thinking my phone is fine...love it otherwise!
