Note 5 stuck in safe mode

My Note 5 is stuck in safe mode and I cannot get out of it. I even tried a factory reset with no success. It appears my volume down key is stuck. I called Verizon and the message says to call back during normal business hours Monday through Friday. How could they not be open? This is what the website says...

How could a large national company like Verizon not only honor their hours listed online but how could they not be open on the weekend? Very disappointed. Hopefully someone from the company responds on this forum.
