Verizon, so i have 2 options. Return the phone online and upgrade to another phone. Or get a refund of all charges, fees, etc. This is what i want to do. Wait out the end of the month, and upgrade,to the LGV20. That is the simplest. Im sure there is a timeframe for this recall. 30 days, 60 days, whatever. I just got the recall notice on October 13. And unless there is a stated time frame, i should be able to wait a few weeks, and do the upgrade,to the v20. Correct?

Verizon can't say that is ok to wait. It is too much liability for Verizon or Samsung to give any indication other than power off now and return now.

I understand that point. So without an end date for the recall being set, one could hold out for a little bit longer. Im sure there will be a time frame period announced for this.

I agree. It will be more than 30 days, and I would say at least 30 days from day of announcement.

You can put a temporary old phone on the line or the line will be suspend but continue to be billed, according to the text the other person got about the Note 7 being disabled.

You would need to return your recalled device while you're still able to. If you have an old phone to activate while you wait for another phone to launch, we can assist with activating it. Please do not use your Note 7.
