Thanks for providing those additional details carlosglikes. It sounds like the device may have had an improper shut down which may have caused it to disable some functions. Let's see if we can get those features back to normal performance. Oftentimes when a device powers off suddenly it's either due to too many processes running or a battery not making the proper connection. Since the restart would've ended most processes, let's troubleshoot for the latter by completing these steps: http://vz.to/1tl7CR6. Once removed, reinsert and retest to see if the sounds come back to normal. If it does, please then retest video function also. Be sure to keep us posted with your findings.

carlosgilkes,
We appreciate you giving that a try. Let's keep working here. When you removed the battery did you try removing the sim card as well? If not let's remove that: http://vz.to/1XFeTon Also do you have as SD (memory) card in? If so, let's remove that one as well. You may leave the sim card out a couple minute before putting back in. If you have an sd card, hold off putting it back in. Test out your device without first to see if a difference.

You may need to get a new SIM card. You can get one free from a Verizon Wireless store.

Don't worry, we're not giving up here. After reviewing your previous posts, I'd like a little clarification. In addition to not being able to make or receive calls, are you also having difficulty with the battery draining?
