All my pictures are saved in my gallery to my sd card. But when i try to access them, it takes forever for them to load, if they load at all. Is there some way to make it easier for them to load, or something else i can be doing. ... another way to store them.... something? I go through my pics periodically to get rid of unnecessary ones, but it would be nice to be able to view them and it not take an hour for them to load, if they decide to load at all.

Oh my! This is definitely troublesome to read about. We want for you to always be able to access your pictures, no matter how you have them stored. When did this problem start to happen? Have you been able to turn the phone completely off & then back on?
