Problem with picture transfers

I tried copying and moving my pictures  from gallery to my sd card. They move  over ok. But when I try to delete them from gallery they also delete from the card. The pics are originally saved from a text message.

sd card in the note5?????........did you drag from the gallery to the sd card??
