Text sent without knowledge

My phone texted one of my contacts without my knowledge.  I had an appointment with her and one minute before it was scheduled my phone texted her that I was at the movie theater.  How can this happen and how do I make sure it won't happen again?

Talked with tech support and they solved the mystery.  It was one of the quick response phrases, I must have accidentally (?) triggered it?  Deleted default responses, should not happen again.
