I had a Verizon galaxy note 2 and then got a iPhone which is my current device.
I would like to update my Galaxy note 2 as well but I got error message that I should try it when verizon service is available! My sim is in my iPhone and my Samsung is deactivated! Is there any way that I can update it?

You will have to activate the Note 2. Get an adapter for the nano SIM card so you can use the same SIM card in both phones. You will need a nano to micro SIM card adapter. I would suggest a good quality one.
