Visual Voicemail not working on Note 9

For a few weeks my Visual Voicemail is not working properly on Note 9.    It is version 12.0.00.6 with no where to update it or check for updates.   

I get a notification that Voicemail is having an error.   I have to go to the App Settings and force a stop.   Then I have to clear data and restart the app for it to pick up the visual voicemail.    EVERY time someone leaves a voicemail.

My phone is up to date as are all my apps.    Any suggestions?
