any info would be appreciated, i have tried different things to see if it is a setting that i don't have right, but i just cant get the camera to focus when i want to take a pic. it takes is a long time to focus and it is very frustrating. Babies don't wait for your camera to focus...................lolol.

It definitely shouldn't be that slow, are you using the stock camera? what mode are you using it in? what other settings do you have setup? try downloading another camera like "a better camera" or any other free one and see if it behaves the same. If it does that tells me that either the lens is really dirty or the hardware may have an issue. Make sure the lens is clean then try either a restart or power down and battery pull and see if that solves anything.

I know how you feel. Some times for me it can be much longer. And have even done a master reset. With issues still occurring. I will say if you contact Samsung they will want to create a ticket that you have to call to look into the issue how ever. I will have to use VoIP ie I don't have a second phone in my case computer to do this.

I had same problem.. Until I took the plastic film off camera... I am serious... At first I didn't realize it was on because the center circle is cut out.

Hello. just wanted to voice my 2 cents. I too seem to be having an issue with my camera. I take a picture and that's fine however it takes a while for it to show up. I will take the photo and then wait (what feels like forever but i'm sure is probably more like 45 seconds) for the picture i just took to be displayed. Another issue is that when i'm scrolling through my photos and I try to delete one, it takes up to a full minute for the photo to delete!! I though my phone actually froze up at one point until the photo finally disappeared!! I hope this is just a bug that Samsung can fix. My note edge has behaved like this basically since the day i got it and that was in February!! Now, i have not gone to get it checked out, mainly due to the fact that i am super busy and it is not that big of a deal however when i saw your post just though i'd mention it! Curious to see if anyone else is having a problem

To be honest Ray2jen1 it sounds like your device is running low on ram, try going in to your widget and look for Active apps. this will let you know what is running in the background. and help reduce you ram from being sucked away, I have seen Chrome by its self use over 400MB combine that with facebook which can use up about 150-200 MBs it does not take much to eat up the remaining amount. Also make sure your apps are fully up to date. there are a lot that you have to accept T&C in order for them to up date. if all else falls try running the Software Update Repair Assistant. just plug your phone in to your pc with the File Explorer Window Open and you will see a CD option pop up that says Verizon Mobile just click download install and let run, it will also allow you to back up your data to your pc, but only while it does the restore. then it puts it back on the phone, then deletes it form the pc.------ but be warned you will have to set your phone back up. oh do make sure to disable auto restore in the backup and reset under settings other wise it will automatically restore all the apps in your google play account. if all else fails try www.samsung.com/us/kies but Verizon does not support the kies tool and falls out side the scope of tech-support. if you have any further questions I would be happy to answer them.
