Im enjoying being on current software with unlimited data. I took 4 lines
and ported them away from Verizon, after being a 15 year customer. Clearly
my money and loyalty didnt matter.

So I think the whole hold up is that Verizon is just going to push KitKat 4.4.3 to the Note 3 instead of KitKat 4.4.2. But, the Galaxy S5 will get it first, hopefully soon and then the Note 3 should follow very closely behind, as the 4.4.3 update should be rolling out to Nexus devices very soon. But, I could be very wrong and they are going to push 4.4.2 for the Note 3, but if that's the case then that'd be (removed) up, but not surprising, as they've had ample amounts of time with it for the Note 3, at least 2 months or more now. Verizon, give us just an idea of what's going on with this phone! Have you guys shelved it and think of it as the Samsung Droid Charge? Is it now the read headed step child since the charge is out of the house?

It doesn't appear like Verizon is ever going to answer anybody.
They would've done so by now. No, the update will either show up or it
won't.
They have firmly established themselves as the rudest of the carrier bunch
and, frankly, it doesn't appear like they really care about that.
They have the best coverage, they know it. It's a pain to switch and
costly, they know it. Some of you will leave, ten times as many will sign
up, they know it.
Updates are low priority for them the lack of which has nothing to do with
coverage, just an insignificant nuisance for them if that.
You've passed off a lot of people Verizon, not because you didn't provide a
time update that may have improved your loyal customer's end user
experience although this doesn't win you any popularity votes, but because
you chose to ignore when customers asked you a question.
I don't know how it is in your world Verizon, but if I went into a store to
ask a question about a product I was going to buy and the sales person
decided to ignore my question and walk away, you can bet that I would go
elsewhere. There is no way such an act, and what you are doing here, can
be viewed in a positive light.
Thankfully my phone works well on Jelly Bean so do I want the update?
Well, updates are always intended to improve the target device and I'm all
for that. Who wouldn't be?
But what really is at issue here is your policy toward how you handle
customer inquiries. Put simply, it is appalling. Really.

Well put, you have hit all the key points, which leaves this discussion closed. Like you said, one person leaves, and one person is signing up. To move Verizon, it would take a number of us to take an affirmative action, and just what that would be, and how many are willing to participate, is a whole new discussion.

Yes sir, when enough customers take their money to another carrier and that is noticed in the bottom line by those in the Ivory Palace at VZW things change.

So here we are, Mother's Day, 5 months after 4.4 launch and still no kitkat update for the note 3. I hate this silent waiting game they play.

Like QNote3 mentioned in his reply, they don't care. (discussion of moderation removed) so what does that tell you? I think you need to ask yourself, what is more important, better coverage, or 100% customer satisfaction. I am sorry, right now it doesn't look as if you going to get both, which we would love to have, and what we pay for.
