Why do I have high Data Usage?

For the last 2 billing cycles the phones on my account have been using all of the data on my plan! I have 3 lines and a shared 16G of data and two of my lines have been using 7 and 8 gigs each! What is going on? Why are we going over? Nothing has changed on our usage of lines. We connect to wifi at home and my daughter connects at school but yet her data usage sky rockets. This is really making me mad and considering a different phone company. 3 phone lines should not be using 16 gigs of data in 2 weeks!

Did you look at the phones to see which apps are using the data. That is always the first step in figuring out what is going on.

just because they have passwords doesn't mean they're using wi-fi.

Sarah9055, you should be able to use your data whenever you need to. The data utilization tool can help manage and see where your data is being used http://vz.to/2brUCTc. FamilyBase can also help limit the data usage on the devices. Here’s more details http://vz.to/1RDa6PL.
