Galaxy Note 2 will not fully start up. It gets hung on the Verizon screen and wont move past.
Tried to remove battery, SIM card, reset cache.
Is there anything I can without having to perform a factory reset?
Do I lose all photos, contacts, apps with the a factory reset?
Can I back up photos using the USB port before resetting?

You can check that here: http://vz.to/1NYqEkj The next step will be a factory reset and that will erase the phone. If you have it backed up to our cloud you won't lose anything.
