hangout app is hidden

Hangout app is hidden but I can't see find the shortcut on my phone, it is not on the list of applications but it shows that it has been downloaded on the phone.

Check your Google folder. All Google apps are bundled into a folder.

No more playing hide and seek for 'hangouts' fyc, let's get it back. Please access your 'Apps' and then select the Menu icon>hide/unhide apps. Once you see it, make sure you uncheck the box.
