how do i get text to speech to function on my note8?

- From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
- Tap Settings > General management.
- Tap Language & input.
- Tap Text-to-speech.
- Select desired TTS engine:
- Samsung text-to-speech engine
- Google Text-to-speech Engine
- Next to the desired search engine, tap the Settings icon.
- Tap Install voice data.
- For the Samsung text-to-speech engine, the desired language may already be downloaded.
- However, you have the option of downloading a higher quality version.
- Next to the desired language, tap Download or the Download icon.
- Wait as the language downloads. It may take a few minutes.
- Tap the Back key.
- Tap Language to select the language.
