how can i change the USB connection. upon plugging in to USB, i do not get an option to connect, it just charges. i pull down notification bar and it just says charging.@

I have the same problem and have yet to recieve and anwser. Don't factory reset yours if they tell you to because what they dont tell you is it may lock you out of your phone for 3 days if the google lock trigers !

Windows 10 is not recognizing Note5, but Windows 7 works fine. I see your question has not been answered. As I too am having issues with device recognition in Windows 10.

would recognize my friends Note 5 and not mine on W10?
