samsung keyboard stopped working

I installed update today 4/6/18 and my Samsung keyboard has stopped working and I cannot use my apps.  I have cleared cache, data, safe mode and still nothing.  Please help

It's essential  for your keyboard to work correctly, ayoukon. I understand you started experiencing an issue after installing a software update. Can you tell me more about what is not working? Are you seeing any errors? You mentioned the Samsung keyboard is not working. Do you have additional keyboards installed on your device that are working correctly for you? When you cleared the cache and data was that for the Samsung keyboard? If not, what path did you follow when clearing this information?
