Just because you unlocked it, doesn't mean it is compatible with the Verizon Wireless network.

Being able to use your unlocked phone is important. Due to differences in network technologies, not all devices are compatible with our network. An unlocked device only means there is no software active that would prevent the activation. To confirm if your Note9 is compatible with our network, check the IMEI on this link https://www.verizonwireless.com/onedp/byod#/checkDevice. Please let us know if this information helps.
