After the recent update two things happened.
1.) I got a caller ID to try out for a month. I disabled it, not interested.
2.) A neat tab appeared on the left edge of the screen which allowed me to drag (2) applications into the main window. This was cool. It has now disappeared from the phone.
How can I get the tab back?

The new Multi Window feature became available in the recent Android update for Samsung Galaxy S3. You can enable / disable it from the top menu. Drag your finger from the top of the screen and down, then drag your finger to the left in the top menu you get, until you find the “Multi Window” button. Pressing it will enable or disable the feature.

The multi-window tab is turned on and off by holding down the "back" button. The one on the lower right corner of the phone. You could be accidentally turning the tab on and off by holding the button too long.

Thank you!
It kept getting in my way.
