I haven't installed or changed anything since yesterday and after the update today my battery is draining faster. I noticed the GPS was set to high and I had it to battery save mode. Anything else I should look for ?
settings/battery/usage.....is google play services a high %.
i did a master reset, de-selected many items that were getting notifications, optimizeed app i use, de-selected others & now no problems on the note5.
Sorry to hear about the trouble with the update, KIRKHAM145. Is this issue continuing? Typically, there is an optimization period after the phone downloads an update. Performance should automatically return to normal a few days after you complete any update. If so, please share with us what the top 4 power users are in your device's Settings under Battery.
